Filing A Claim

In the unlikely event that your shipment is lost or damaged, you can file a claim with the US Postal Service.

Instructions for Filing a Claim Online:

File a claim for damaged or lost domestic shipments.

Save time and register your claim at USPS.com. You’ll be able to file immediately and check on status updates. This is available for domestic claims only. (Excludes COD and Register Mail.)

1) Sign into USPS.com, or register for a new account.

2) Enter your item’s article number. (It is the 13 digit alphanumeric sequence that begins with a letter and ends with “US.” Example: EB123456789US. If you don’t see a sequence like that, look for a string of 20, 22, 26, 30, or 34 numbers.)

3) Start an Online Claim Here

Instructions for Filing a Claim at the Post Office

1) Print the Claim Form Here
2) Complete the form, attach any shipment documentation you have with a paperclip.
3) Bring form and documentation to your local Post Office™. The Post Office will forward your claim to our Accounting Services team.
